What the site does and does not do

• No cookies, no tracking, no analytics. The site consists of static pages; there are no accounts and no database.
• Computation in your browser. Dates, places and settings you enter stay on your device and are not sent to any server.
• Geolocation. The “use my position” button asks the browser for your coordinates only when you press it and only with your consent; the coordinates are used to compute the local sky, stay in the page and are neither transmitted nor stored.
• Light/dark theme. The choice applies only to the open page and is not stored.

Technically necessary third-party services

• Hosting: GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web server it may record IP addresses in technical logs. GitHub privacy statement.
• Fonts: Google Fonts (Google LLC) — the browser requests the font files from Google servers, which see your IP. Google privacy policy.
• 3D library: three.js loaded from cdnjs (Cloudflare, Inc.). Cloudflare privacy policy.

Contact and sign-ups

The “Join” form sends nothing to the site: it opens your email program. Messages you send by email are kept in the controller’s mailbox to reply and to send you the notices you requested; you may ask for deletion at any time by writing to the same address. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). No sharing with third parties, no profiling.
